Hello! I’m Anneke!

Anneke Seely is grateful for the growth, change, and healing that the counseling relationship can foster. She recognizes that starting counseling takes courage and vulnerability and she loves creating a safe space for clients and meeting them where they are at with acceptance, empathy, warmth, and wisdom.

Anneke has a master’s degree in counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL and is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider. She is under the supervision of Leiah Drew-Hightower, LPC-MHSP-S.

Anneke’s approach to counseling is relational, collaborative, and holistic: recognizing the integration of mind, body, spirit, and community. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Emotion Focused Therapy, Person Centered, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, mindfulness, Attachment Theory, and trauma and neuroscience-informed interventions to tailor her care to the needs of each individual client.

She works with children, teenagers, couples, and individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, spirituality, relationships, trauma, spiritual abuse, sexual issues, career and life transitions, and perinatal issues.

Anneke also loves traveling, spend time in nature, reading, singing, going to concerts, and trying out new restaurants in Nashville. Some of her past jobs include working on an organic vegetable farm, delivering babies as a home birth midwifery assistant, and teaching violin to children from the age of four. She also speaks fluent Dutch!
